We need to change the narative from 'believe the victim' to 'prove they are the victim'. If it cant be proved the person is a victim, then they should be turned away until they provide clear evidence they are victim. I'd rather see sexual asaulters walk than to just take someone's word

Just do the job and collect facts. Or if a journalist, report them. But STOP commenting in reporting the story. Stop smearing all men. Stop the sensationalism and clickbait. Stop the fake news.

Fuck off, there is only one feminism and it has always been garbage. It started in the 1960s and 1970s and has never stopped with the exactly same bullshit rhetoric.

The age of consent in California is 18. In most other states, it's 17, which means Argento committed a crime in only a very technical sense. While I think it was wrong to take advantage of a young man who claimed he saw her as a mother figure to him—and it was certainly wrong to ply him with alcohol, as Argento allegedly did—I'm not sure the law should hold that 17-year-olds have no sexual agency. I am not eager to see Argento prosecuted, unless she truly incapacitated him first.

Excellent, now we just need to extend that to men in that situation and we're golden.

It's called common sense, just as I would not want "Asia Argento" prosecuted over what would only be a crime in the most extreme technical sense rather than the spirit of the law, I would not want a man that is "caught having sex" with a 17 year old woman , prosecuted either.

Of course there is context to be considered, it's not just a flat "let's reduce the age of consent every time", context must ALWAYS be considered, which it never is, when it is an older man and younger woman.
