So having illegal sex with a 13 year old is a “relationship”.

I understand why they showed her leniency. I don't agree with the decision at all, but I can at least understand where they're coming from.

What I want is for them to show EQUAL LENIENCY when a horny teenager (male) has sex with a younger horny teenager (female). Not saying it shouldn't be a crime, don't get me wrong, but during teenage years, people do incredibly stupid things and I firmly believe they should be shown a bit of leniency. Not as much as this woman, but don't brutalize people like they do with men.... a middle ground would be best.

I know no one cares, but I specifically waited till I was 18 to have sex, not on the basis of any moral grounds or anything pure like that, I was just ultra terrified of getting a girl pregnant. I saw many of my school friends basically have their lives ruined because they got their girlfriend pregnant and both were very young. I didn't want to be like them...... anyway, I don't excuse this behavior, not one bit, but let's not go crazy, I hope the rest of the subreddit doesn't forget that zero consideration is how they treat men and I don't think it is how neither men nor women should be treated in these cases.
