New Zealand has one of the highest rates of domestic violence in the developed world, with police responding to a family violence incident every four minutes.

My prediction is that this law will lead to an increase in the NZ DV numbers:

Domestic violence victims do not have to provide proof of their circumstances, and will also be entitled to fast-tracked flexible work conditions designed to ensure their safety, such as changing their work location, changing their email address and having their contact details removed from the business’s website.

So let me get this straight....

If a woman has no talent, no money and no powerful friends she can STILL find a socially accepted easy way out by....

a) webcamming naked to get by financially

b) get loans or support or help from countless women only charities, grants & funds

c) ...and now she can also claim to be 'upset' by a man, which passes for domestic violence these days (literally in many countries), to get a wage, and/or get knocked up to get a house. Regardless of whether its the truth, regardless of whether she is a toxic mother.

Oh I forgot one...

d) ....whore herself to some celebrity then claim rape and get rich from TV, book or court money.

And what choices do men have by comparison?

a) work hard until you die

b) work hard until a court says you have to give a woman half your money, then die

c) work hard until you get sued by a woman who claims you upset her. Then die.

The new legislation will come into effect in April next year and stipulates that any person experiencing domestic violence will be entitled to 10 days paid leave from work, which will be in addition to standard holiday and sick leave entitlements.

Plenty of laws are abusable, or easily breakable. But as humans, most of us aren’t running around abusing or breaking laws are we? I feel like in your mind every other woman is going to be faking domestic abuse for days off, when in reality both sexes will rarely be using this incorrectly because people are better than you think
