My school had self defence classes that only girls were allowed to attend while the boys had to study. Would you really be surprised if an Islamic school put all of the girls in a room to vegetate while the boys were given religious instruction?
All they care about is the outcome for girls. In our culture they see keeping girls away from boys as good for girls, but they know that Islam is terrible for girls so they want to ban muslims from the same segregation.
Fuck universal ethics, it's worth being a hypocrite to get the outcomes you want.
Girls also do better in school in Muslim nations, including Saudi Arabia.
