No woman or girl should be made to feel uncomfortable in this way. No woman or girl should have to do the rapid risk-factor calculation of “do I confront, or will I get hurt?” No child – boy or girl – should have hardcore porn thrust in their line of sight when they are on their way to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs.

This one little bit of writing tells you what an utter lunatic she is doesn't it? Really? Getting that upset over somebody watching porn? I'd feel uncomfortable potentially because yeah you're a bit weird to do that on a bus but it shows you how these sorts of feminists are hysterical liars and can't seem to help themselves.

When it comes to her, no no, this isn't funny, you're supposed to take it seriously because for girls it could potentially be a life or death situation. This woman reminds me a lot of the types of feminists Christina Hoff Sommers has had to deal with in her speeches, exact sort of mentality where they've been turned into hysterical paranoid fantasists thanks to feminist indoctrination when they would have been otherwise nice, normal people.

It had been a long day at work. I got on the bus at 7.30 in the evening and it was cold and drizzly. All the passengers were wrapped up in thick coats, hoods and hats.

Inside, the bus was softly lit and I was expecting to zone out on my way back home: just let the day go and switch off.

I sat on the lower deck beside a complete stranger and didn't give it a second thought. I was just relieved to get a seat. As we meandered through the London traffic, my gaze was drawn to my neighbour's phone. I wasn't being nosy but in the dim light of the bus, the brightness of his mobile caught my attention even though he was slanting it slightly away from me.

Although I didn't mean to or want to, I found myself looking over towards his mobile a few times and then it suddenly occurred to me what was going on. The man beside me was watching porn.

These intrusive busybodies should keep their noses out of other people's phones and mind their own business.

"sexual harassment" really does just mean "anything that offends a woman" these days. It's a Victorian era speech code for the 21st century.

Legally however sexual harassment has it's roots in the duty of an institution to maintain a non-discriminatory environment by controlling it's students and employees behaviour, and as such the concept of sexual harassment in a public place is impossible. There is no institution with a duty to maintain non-discrimination. There's no institution at all. There's only the individual, and once you remove the institution you leave sexual harassment as a naked speech and behaviour code with no basis in law and in fact a clear violation of the constitutional protection of free speech and non-discrimination against the person doing the "offending".

It's weird, but it's not harassment. Guaranteed the men sitting next to a person who's doing this are every bit as uncomfortable as the women. And it doesn't matter whose on screen.

Not that it isn't kind of weird and probably illegal to watch porn in public, but how is it sexual harassment? I guess the metric for sexual harassment victimization is whether you feel like you're being harassed.

Watching porn in public is rude at best, but it certainly isn't sexual harassment if you aren't trying to show it to other people.

It isn't illegal in Canada, as far as I know. It's just very, very rude and inconsiderate. But it certainly isn't sexual harassment. But then again, is there anything a feminist doesn't consider to be sexual harassment?
