I just got banned in TwoXChromosomes because I post in "subreddits that a majority of our problem users are active participants in". I rarely post in 2X just mostly read, and when I do post, I'm careful not to inflame. Wow. Talk about living in a bubble.
Isn't that now against the rules to ban users based on the subreddits they post in or are subscribed to?
Any way, I love how the "innocent until proven guilty" concept works in these kind of "safe spaces". You don't even have the chance to talk to these people, maybe learn from them, and teach them a few things, you know sharing and all this "being a better person" stuff.
Management of Multiple Communities: We know management of multiple communities can be difficult, but we expect you to manage communities as isolated communities and not use a breach of one set of community rules to ban a user from another community. In addition, camping or sitting on communities for long periods of time for the sake of holding onto them is prohibited.
It's really clear, but apparently admins don't really enforce these rules, and many of the subs that autoban you based on the subs you visit are on the "politically correct" side, so I guess the admins don't want any trouble by warning these communities.
