Misandry: Graduate Show Project for Art and Design (own work) - thought you guys might appreciate it.

I successfully graduated with this project, and it was at the graduate show. This is how it looked in person: http://imgur.com/MscrAoa

I'm not sure I adequately portrayed the issues of men's rights, however, it was more my goal to spark discussion and thoughts on why people never talk about it, and to bring up these issues in a setting where it wouldn't seem like someone talking down to them, which is why there is a lot of feminist perspective. I think some of my tutors were confused at certain points of the story, saying that my work could help women in cultures all over the world (? lol), however, everything went smoothly and despite my fears that there would be opposition, both my class and the tutors were supportive of my work. I feel I could have gone further, I guess, but I didn't.

In the future, I want to do more work, comic and otherwise, to support the men's rights movement.

lol These are literally the kind of discussions I would have in my humanities classes in undergrad. I think you did a really nice job depicting the kind of arguments people use on the various sides

Others have said the obvious stuff, so I won't repeat it. Instead, I'll speculate that a big reason the project was accepted and you found success was because you gave the TERF the last word. I think if you gave the last word to the egalitarian, or even the naive feminist, you'd have received much harder pushback.

You could upload it on any feminist sub, replace the first page with the word "Misogyny", and they would unironically claim this work shows how wrong and evil mens rights activists are and how they push women to internalize misogyny. They would not be able to see the problem, I bet it.

You really managed to capture a typical discussion many mra's had with feminists, good job.

I liked it very much! Maybe your teachers think it would be helpful top women as a kind of "internal discussion work". Your work can be utilized to a, say, "libertarian" or "NAFALT" feminist talking about the issues of the "not real feminists".
