The two of us hit it off really well and she's a very intelligent and loyal woman. We rarely have issues other than this episode.

She had a fling "on and off" with the friend about five years ago.

She was cleaning up her place and moving furniture and that. I was busy having dinner with a friend of mine that day, and she mentioned she asked a friend of hers to help her out but he couldn't since he had work to do. As in, the two of them alone in the house for a whole day. After she tells me this I go cold and soft next without explanation. Some time after she asks what's wrong and I mention him and say it's inappropriate to put herself in such a position that showed disrespect and plausible deniability and then she sends me these texts:

I really mean it that I just want you, put in any kind of bad situation it would not be hard for me to say no or whatever else I would have to do. I'm not sure how to convince you of that but it is true. You're my main subject when I talk to anyone anyway lol and that's not much of a turn on for another male. No one has put the moves on me and it wouldn't work if they did.

I'm sorry for making you angry or upset. But you should know that I'm obscenely happy with and about you, no one can waiver it, but you're right in that I should think about who is appropriate in what situation.

I would never put myself in the position for it to just happen I have zero romantic feelings or attraction for any of my male friends. Whether or not you are uncomfortable with something I want to know because I didn't see a problem with it, because I am so in love with you that I know nothing is capable of "just happening" but if it really is a problem then of course I don't want to bother you and won't hangout with people you don't want me to.

I want you to trust me, I try to make it known whenever I make plans or try to make plans. I don't tip toe. I wish you understood how much I love you. Bottom line, if you are uncomfortable with something I need to know so I can not do it. Now that I know I won't make plans with people you don't want me to be around.

I tried not to be butthurt and angry or upset, just stoic nonchalance but I realize I kind of made a big deal out of it. Regardless of how badly I dealt with it what could be my next course of action or response?
