That's Netflix story. I think the customer service person is talking in general terms as to why films don't get picked up by Netflix.

While it's entirely possible Netflix refrained from purchasing the rights for political reasons or simply because they didn't want to get involved in the controversy, I agree it's imprudent and unproductive to jump to conclusions. The real test will be if they add it to their lineup in the next 6-12 months, as it's one of the top-watched documentaries right now.

If they don't, so be it. It's lost revenue for them.

I think it damages the credibility of the men's rights movement when this type of dramatic overstatement is all over social media. It's a shame to see.

Netflix does not always offer something based on demand, sometimes the demand comes from offering it - House of Cards etc
