Today while I was studying in the kitchen I was talking with my mam about her new boyfriend. They've been dating for over a year, and have definitely seen their ups and downs. He is very stoic and not affectionate, which has not gone down well with my mam. She's encouraged him to be more open, going so far as to berate him over the phone for not texting her, completely forgetting that he has a demanding, high-paying job as was seeing his ex-wife and two teenage daughters (he and his ex wife are close and have equal parenting).

Today during our chat my mam said she'd expect him to buy her a "house and car" if he won the lottery. I was shocked and asked whether or not she was with him for his money. She said the financial security he brought her was a factor, but she did care for him. I understand this to a degree, as my dad is a deadbeat alcoholic who doesn't pay child support despite saying he would (but to be fair, he only stopped after he lost his job and she sodomised him with the state). However, I wonder if she'd be half as interested in her BF if he was penniless, and she was completely blind to the fact that after finishing college (which she did when I was ten) she sat on her arse and didn't look for a job. This also comes as a surprise as she constantly talks about gaining independence after I leave for college in a few years and getting a job as she hated being a SAHM. Why would you need a man for financial support if you want to get a job and not work as a SAHM? I keep thinking of that Paul Elam quote, "Most whores are just honest women. Most women are just dishonest whores".

I'm posting this as I feel that my Men's Rights Activism has not only changed my view of women, but has caused a rift between me and my mother. I was very gynocentric before I became an anti feminist, and have begun to notice all the subtle influences that caused me to be gynocentric. My view on women has changed for the worst, and I've been watching a lot of videos by Paul Elam on women to avoid. I see a lot of these traits in my mother. I'm lucky to have my grandmother, who is my mum's exact opposite (but still gynocentric to a degree). I worry that I too will turn out like my mom, and what damage she might do to her BF. I sometimes worry that my biological imperitaves towards hypergamy and the manipulation of men will activate in me, though I've been taking conscious steps to prevent this and become more compassionate towards men and boys. Do you guys have any advice?
