Look, we all know women's "buttons" are all different and unique. Some can't come from penetration, others only from penetration, others rarely at all. It's interesting how women (and sometimes men) will prod men for their "ego."

An appropriate response should be, "Why should a male have any ego at all?" This is a good attitude to have, because a guy who doesn't have an ego (which I don't), probably wouldn't give a crap what anyone else thought anyway. Which in most circumstances, I don't.

The most horrifying male of all for a damseling female or a chivalrist windmill crusader male to encounter, is a male who is completely without ego -- because that's a male who frankly isn't likely to give a fuck what the others think, and who can't be controlled by prodding at his self esteem.

It's interesting for a man to envision what it would be like to be completely without ego, or to perhaps replace that ego with a shiny sense of (female-like) vanity instead.

Beyond just the sex life and his ego, this is indicative of a very serious flaw in the relationship. For two years, multiple times a week (presumably), this woman has been decieving her boyfriend who trusted her so that she could avoid a little discomfort in explaining how to satisfy her. If she can lie about something that would take at most a few hours to rectify (and would probably ultimately be enjoyable for both parties), she lied to him habitually. If I were that guy, I'd start to wonder what the hell else she lied about.
