Even on the fucking headlines they're trying to make it out he's against stopping domestic violence. People look at the headline, what the article says and then read the comments all slandering him and they just assume it's true because it's a 'news source'.

I think one of the best ways we can combat this kind of slander is simply making sure that there are alternative news sources out there that can put a stop to this nonsense like David Rubin and so on.

I actually have a rather sad prediction to make that I've been thinking more and more lately. Because most of my generation has effectively been indoctrinated into behaving this way towards any sort of opposition or debate, I do wonder if it's not going to take 10 - 20 years to fix all this because that's roughly the amount of time feminists and anti-capitalists spent utterly wrecking the education system in favour of this fanatical western-hating man-hating bullshit.

Alternatively, one of the more damaging things that can be done which feminists really hate is using their own tactics against them except of course they do actually hate men so all we need to do is make sure people know just what man-haters they are and put a stop to them. I remember when the whole "Women against feminism" thing started up and they absolutely lost their shit, it's just difficult getting people to even think about that sort of thing because of how fanatical they are.

Flipping the narrative doesn't work usually, they have the Women Are Wonderful effect which doesn't translate over. I have noticed some, minor traction being made, with every major publication putting out hit pieces there will be a few dissenters. The comments are telling too, with more support each time.

I've just about won over my wife, she was a hardcore feminist as of two years ago, I've won every argument and provided facts to every claim, she's already dropped her previous positions and doesn't consider herself a feminist anymore.

I think it's going to take someone with more gravitas than Mr. Davies or Milo (when he used to talk about MRA stuff) to get any real traction. Milo has his gay card but that's not worth much anymore, Davies gets attacked for his prior marriage and weaker stature. Sounds weird but I think a man who is jacked, well spoken, well dressed, disadvantaged, and intelligent is the only way to get past the 'sexist, homophobic, misogynist, etc etc' smokescreen we see from the regular detractors. Davies is laying some serious ground work, I just don't think he can compete against the media disinformation machine.

Kinda went off on a tangent but im on vacay and it's raining, so eff it.

If it were just them saying that Philip Davies had blocked the bill then that wouldn't be a problem, but they're all making it out he's some backwards evil racist and misogynist 'Tory' MP which is a blatant lie.

Like I said, they take bills like this, give them names like 'domestic violence' and then use that to shame anybody who tries to criticise it or vote against it. Hence my kicking puppies and toddlers analogy, that is literally what they're doing, they're running to the tops of the towers screaming about how he hates women because it's a domestic violence bill.

I guess for an American equivalent this is a bit like the patriot act, probably one of the most unpatriotic bills produced in recent history and they do that kind of thing to shame people away from voting against it. This was back then though when the christian right and republicans were more prevalent in politics.

I do wonder if frankly Philip Davies should get his own back and start introducing bills of a similar nature, but I wonder with the establishment stacked against him they'll just smack him down even though they're using the exact same tactics.
