So the men's rights issue here is that the dad would've been charged if it were him? I've had friends who were beaten like this by their fathers and even when police got involved they were never charged, but the were beaten less afterwards.

The website seems dodgey but as someone else in the thread confirmed, the story is old but real. However, I don't see this as being a men's rights or even women's rights issue. It's simply a shitty mother being a shitty mother, gender doesn't seem like a factor here. If I'm missing something, feel free to go ahead and point it out.
