So let me just start out by saying that I have basically just discovered this subreddit and really the movement itself in the last two or three days. Some background on me first, I am a single dad of two wonderful kiddos, in my early thirties, I work at a place that I have been at for 10 years getting up the company ladder, and I don't have a degree...yet. Over the past couple of months I have been researching and observing what I consider to be shocking behavior and actions of the SJW movement, Black lives matter movement, and etc..I have studied events like Hugh Mungus, and this eventually lead me to more things. I followed the long dark rabbit hole of feminism triggered youtube compilations, General Femism Youtube videos, and spent hours on wikipedia and other sites researching moderm social justice movements as listed above. Compiling all of that research I had come to the conclusion that an alarming number of growing people in my country considered me, on site alone, a priveledged, racist, bigotted, woman hater. I learned of segregation happening on college campuses. This all kind of scared me and brought into light things I have expereineced. Then, as if by fate, I found Milo...and then Lauren Southern, and Karen Straughan etc. Then eventually I came here when a friend recommended it. Now, I have experienced discrimination in my life, and I have just taken it and gone on. For instance, child support court, my ex doesn't pay child support that often, and therefore we get dragged into court by the Attorney Generals office here in texas about once a year. In seven years of divorce, and seven or eight times going to court, they have always assumed in the first five minutes of going over our case that I was the one behind. I got chewed out once by a judge for five minutes before I could explain that I was the one OWED child support and she was behind. That's one example, there are more. My point I am trying to get too is I do think men's issues and rights are under attack and we need to do something about it. My question is...am I at the right place? I really don't know, and unfortunately the internet is full of information...some positive, and some negative. I want to do more with a true movement that doesn't hate, but promotes change through educations of the current issues. Anyways, hope I didn't ramble and people can understand what I am getting at. Also...how does one start being active?
