Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

The report calls for an end to the hands-off approach many universities have been taking to reports of sexual violence. At the moment Universities do not bring about disciplinary proceedings unless a victim had reported their allegations to the police or the case was prosecuted.

They want this system to end.

Idk what they want by reporting it to the university. If there was evidence of the rape, why not go to the police immediately? Universities aren't the police.

They want to bypass due process and create a parallel system to make sure that feminist 'justice' gets done.

Feminists are already trying their hardest to strip women of agency and responsibility and instill the victim mentality in them. Note that the young woman at the top of the article was too drunk to know what happened to her, but cannot believe that it could have been anything other than rape. She appears unable to conceive that it is perfectly possible to be drunk, conscious, capable of making decisions, but utterly incapable of remembering them afterwards.

Said it before and I'll say it again, I hate my country, how they seriously expect any men to attend university and come out as sane and balanced individuals with this kind of attitude towards rape and sexual assault accusations is beyond me.

I bet you could be the quietest guy in the fucking universe and slip by the system mostly unnoticed and some batshit crazy student will still find a way to nail you with an accusation for no reason.

Australia may also be preparing to go down the same dark road. Lots of media articles of a similar bent this year and our Human Rights Commission is conducting an inquiry on it at the moment.

I bet you could be the quietest guy in the fucking universe and slip by the system mostly unnoticed and some batshit crazy student will still find a way to nail you with an accusation for no reason.

Yes that's me. I'm a vegetarian. I don't drink or smoke or have any interesting vices. My idea of a good time is exercise, meditation, reading.

Wasn't for no reason - I refused to date her. So she explicitly threatened me in writing for that and said she could have jumped me any time she wanted to.

Wasn't rape. Sexual harassment. Though she did later send herself a series of death and rape threat emails pretending to be me, after I took her to court for sexual harassment. Used those to get an AVO out against me though the police did eventually prove she faked them.

She withdrew her sexual harassment complaint upon being told that I'm gay and fully confessed in writing to lying about the sexual harassment but the university refused to consider that in their determination because, well it was inconvenient for them.

Holy fuck, I hate it when I'm right, I wonder these days if any students at all get a proper education out of universities thanks to this kind of bullshit.

[–]BumFacePhD 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why can't we just have single sex universities and avoid all this shit?

[–]robochicken11 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Segregation is pretty shitty, especially in a university where your ideas should be challenged by those of different nationalities and genders... It's just like the concept of safe spaces, the very thing we want to avoid. Unfortunately at this rate there may as well be segregation soon...

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 9 points10 points11 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes but with 5/3s of women being raped at freshmen orientation perhaps it's time.

[–]s1500 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But I don't like having to challenge an accusation, so....

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is their second attempt. They failed first time, when they tried to establish a legal precedent using a test case.

Former student fails in legal challenge over Oxford's handling of rape claims

These people are actually evil. They are trying to establish kangaroo courts in which, essentially, there is a presumption of guilt and which are either staffed by feminist ideologues or administrators frightened of those ideologues.

I know this isn't the right subreddit for this, but I don't know why the article needs to insinuate that Brexit is somehow responsible for rising rates of rape. Seems like laziness.

[–]Consilio_et_Animis 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes! I saw that as well in the article. Shows you how crazy these folks are.

[–]_Middlefinger_[🍰] -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It is responsible for an increase in hate crimes, rape may just be one of those crimes. Seems like a somewhat selective claim though.

[–]Roulette88888 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's only been shown to have had an increase in the reporting of hate crime, which isn't the same as an increase in those crimes occurring.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's happening in Australia too, although I don't see it happening.

Too many sons of the rich and powerful would be affected.

[–]Rockbottom503 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would this come as a surprise?? U.K. Universities are now introducing the mandatory sexual assault feminism indoctrination classes (albeit with students revolting against the insanity). This is the next step in the handbook of dominating the education sphere! I think, luckily for us in the uk, this is making it's way across the pond at a time where people are fast becoming less tolerant of putting up with the shit from them. Every year that goes by less men are enrolling; universities are becoming concerned with that - I hope if nothing else this will mean universities tell them where to go!

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is good in a backwards way: the more this spreads the larger the backlash is going to be.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

if men don't stand the fuck up they will be the new slaves of the world. how can they be so blind? feminist are making it so men no longer are able to go to colleges thus lowering the education. next is to force them into labor jobs that pay little and owned by women. this shit is happening in your faces and yet you will not fucking fight back because you don't want to offend some damsel.

Any news reports personlising the issue with individual's stories is almost always propaganda.

The Feminist man hating BBC is really pushing this, another one claiming to be a victim, even though the man was cleared.

My university said that they kind of so their own thing, regardless of what a legal proceeding yields. Fuck them. One of many reasons I don't go to parties.
