I try my best not to dismiss these sorts of people off handedly because of the things they say, but why is it we never see actual evidence of these rape and death threats they claim to receive constantly? To put it into perspective, on the other side of the fence, we have anti-feminists and other more moderate voices like Christina Hoff Sommers who do get threats and all kinds of nasty shit thrown at them by feminists and they can easily produce evidence even video evidence of SJWs sending them all kinds of shit so why the fuck can't these feminists?

I try to be empathetic, but thanks to these idiots, however I find it very difficult these days to even take their word for it that something may have at least 'happened'. I think if some cunt did target the child then of course that's disgusting but really? Law enforcement needs to 'get their shit together'?

It's funny how people on the other side of the whole identity politics argument have no problem receiving help from the police when it comes to this kind of thing yet feminists mysteriously never get anywhere going through the usual judicial process.

Yeah, that's the most telling part of this article and we all know that these people who claim they'll 'quit' social media are full of shit. She'll be back like before except she'll use different mediums to do it like the usual Guardian articles she writes with the comments pages disabled or heavily censored.

This screams to me of the Jess Phillips style of feminist hysteria where she either heavily exaggerates or outright fabricates what's happening to her and their media buddies just play along with it.

On the one hand, threatening to rape a five-year-old is scary stuff.

But on the other hand, she only said she got a threat and didn't show a screenshot of the threat to lend credibility to her claim. She's known for lying to the public.

All this nonsense can be solved in a simple manner:

There are health & safety laws to protect consumers from potentially damaging products and services. Many of these laws are there to protect people from their own stupidity; and often such people are not the brightest of the bunch and are a bit thick. e.g.: "Drink is Hot" on coffee cups from McDonalds.

Clearly, a minority of people cannot handle social media, and need protecting. So enact a law that says that all social media platforms must have an option to register under your true name with a verified ID and address etc. You must scan your driver's license or passport, and upload a picture of yourself etc., plus proof of address. All this can be done automatically, just as when you join one of the new online banks.

Then any user must be given the option to only interact with other, registered and verified users. So you could only ever see such users posts, and only comment to other, registered users.

Twitter are now moving that way, with anyone able to apply for a blue check-mark, upon proof of ID etc. The vast, vast majority of registered users are unlikely to ever be that offensive, and if they are, they can easily be identified. Suddenly, you can make all your social interactions just like real life — from people you can see as real folks.

And anyone who wants to roll-around in the mud of the wild-west is also free to do so.
