Finally, somebody who gives Swedish men the respect they deserve. This "teach men not to rape" thing is stupid because it assumes that Swedish men are ignorant about rape.

Now, all they have to do now is change "teach men not to rape" to "teach migrants not to rape" and then let the chaos ensue. Or, stop telling men not to rape as if we didn't know already.

To be fair, some migrants have very conflicting ideas about rape due to culture conflict. Rape might not be as taboo in their culture than ours. The politician is right in saying that Swedish men rape by choice. But only a very, very small minority of migrants don't know that rape is bad, such as those who were taught all their lives that they can have sex with their wife anytime they want. The rest of the migrants know that they are breaking the law.

Also, sometimes this "teach men not to rape" thing has become so exclusive that many women are not even aware that women can rape. Therefore they might not see themselves as doing anything wrong when forcing a man to have sex with them. Perhaps the politicians should add that women also rape by ignorance?

The politician has some truth in the statement, but it's crudely stated. It uncovers the ugly double standards that we have been lugging around for too long. Hopefully we can lift the veil on how these people think and the reasoning behind their illogical actions.

Why not use their sharia laws against them, they know rape is bad. their religion tells them so.

The punishment for rape in Islam is same as the punishment for zina, which is stoning if the perpetrator is married, and one hundred lashes and banishment for one year if he is not married.
