With Kaisch expected to announce the suspension of his campaign on Wednesday, and Hillary holding a relatively wide lead over Bernie Sanders, it appears likely that the 2016 presidential election will be a contest between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

I believe this will be the best opportunity for us to gain publicity and traction as a legitimate and influential social movement we've ever had. It's inevitable that gender and feminism are going to become massive factors in this campaign, with Trump widely criticized for misogyny and racism, and Clinton running as the first female president who is heavily backed by feminists. Our big opportunity to do something "big" and be seen is NOW.

With the protests and riots and the great proliferation of social media fervor than ever before, never has an American political campaign offered a better platform for a social movement considered radical or fringe to step up into the mainstream and prove their worth. July-October 2016 is going to be one of the most socially intense periods any of us have seen in our lives, and we do NOT want to be left behind.

I suggest we start organizing local MRA chapters, such as a weekly or monthly meet up group. Maybe start talking to classmates or co-workers, open the subject softly, see how they respond, and maybe one night out drinking go a bit in depth and explain what we're about. I also think we need to create a website where all MRA issues can be quickly and clearly explained, so people can catch up on us in under an hour.

Whenever you have a chance to talk about openly about being an MRA, or engaging in any activity you fear might be uncomfortable or that might make you a target, keep in mind two things:

  1. What happens if we talk action and win.

  2. What happens if we do nothing and lose.
