I was reading your post and trying to understand what you meant by "unicorn" and then it hit me:

No you aren't. Not really. What you're actually disgusted by is the difference between the blue pill fantasy that society fed you your entire life, and the red pill truth of how the world actually works.

You're stomping your feet like a child and saying, "but I want the fantasy!"

Look, if all that you knew about cooking was from watching Martha Stewart, you'd be in for a huge let down when you first try cooking on your own. It's tricky, it's messy, sometimes you get burned, and it never comes out quite as perfectly as what she showed you on TV.

Should you be angry at your kitchen? Of course not. A little anger at Martha Stewart is appropriate, but even that is a waste of your time. If you just let all your unrealistic expectations and preconceived notions go, then you can accept the task of cooking for what it actually is. You'll find that it's relaxing and rewarding.

This is a core concept of Taoism. Let go of the fantasy. Accept reality.

When you talk about a unicorn, what you're really saying is that you still want the fantasy - "hey guys, I know this is a fantasy, but is there any way I can still have it?? Please??"

The truth is, the reality of women is just fine. You can have a happy, fulfilling life and many rewarding relationships with women. Seriously, you can. They're not disgusting, they're just not your fantasy.

You have to filter first for behavior, behavior is paramount. My definition of a unicorn doesn't include going down to bars on a Friday night, being receptive to men. The view of unicorns are skewed around here because of both the social climate in the US as well as where you can find (and what type of person can be found for) easy hookups.

Unicorns are not strictly born, they have to be maintained. This means growing up in a healthy environment, being given a strong male presence they can admire from childhood on. Conservative values tends to go a long way, as does some form of faith or belief in a higher power. Both of these systems as well as a good father figure all instill tendencies toward respectable behavior.

How a woman treats you and how she treated men or partners in the past does not have to match up, it is all reliant upon the structure that you set for her and the urge for her to follow you.

You should change your approach if you've been vested in the hookup culture, very few women with self respect would be engaging with the places you may typically find easy access to sex.

That said, finding one and establishing a bond is worth it. Absolutely worth it.

The idea behind unicorns is that they're rare -exceedingly rare- hence the monicker.

How do you know you've never met one? You admit that you're still learning RP (as we all are, to a degree). How is it that you're certain that you've been unable to identify the traits in any woman that make her a potential unicorn?

They're rare. Also, I think it depends where you're looking. In my opinion, if you're meeting women in clubs/bars, you're probably a lot less likely to find a good girl there.

At this point I'm thinking that if there are not many unicorns, then I might just try and make myself homosexual. I already am slightly bi I think, with effort I reckon I could force myself to become gay and therefore no longer have to deal with women.

Dude, what? There's nothing wrong with being gay. But bi or not, you're walking a dangerous line if you think you can "force" yourself to "become" gay. I think you need to worry less about finding a unicorn and focusing more on which gender you want to stick your dick into. Get that figured out, then start looking for your unicorn.

Well for one, you don't find a unicorn you make/train one. Finding them is rare because the required circumstances for a girl, in this age, to develop the social standards and habits required to be one are very rare. Most have been coddles their entire life and fed barrels of hollow accolades and "confidence boosters".

But your far far from that phase. You need to deal with your anger / bitterness first and focus on improving your internal game. TRP isn't something you can master in a few weeks or even months, it's a lifetime of work and you've just started. So spend the next few months focusing on yourself, find out what you truly want to be happy and why you want it.

Alternatively, you could develop relationships that don't require the woman to be this One Special Woman^TM who's Not Like The Others^TM.

If you let go of the needs for monogamy and commitment, you can develop emotionally rewarding long-term relationships with women.

The downside is you have to let go of any rules or expectations of her beyond simply "she must treat me well". Oh, also you have to get good at meeting and quickly sleeping with women, but I view that as more of a perk than a downside. :D
