Hello All,
A few weeks ago I was sitting in a sociology lecture and the professor starts a dialogue about how women feel endangered when walking home at night, and during our class discussion he said "Male sexual assault simply doesn't happen."
The comment was an aside that he stated then quickly moved onto the next part of the lecture. I'm sure he was trying to make a point about how sexual assault on women outnumbers men, but I felt like him saying that it doesn't exist at all is marginalizing male victims.
So I guess my question is: Should I confront him or will calling him out have repercussions on me (and my grade)?
