What do you think of women's rights?

There are two axis of gender equality. Rights and Responsibilities. This gives 4 quadrents of gender equality. Women's Rights, Men's Rights, Women's Responsibilities, and Men's Responsibilities.

Futhermore gender roles are interconnected and interdependent. You can't change something for Women with out also changing something for men.

A movement for gender equality needs to consider all 4 quadrants and advocate concurrent changes for both men and women.

That all said, no the MHRM is not solving women's rights issues. Feminism is doing that, well did that in the past. The MHRM is advocating for the changes to the male gender roles that needed to be done in tandem with the changes to female gender roles, but never happened.

I have no issues with women's rights, if the law in a country discriminates them then it should be fought. If a problem unfairly affects women over men then it should be fixed. These issues and problems need to addressed honestly, and fixed without harming men. The social contract is "I will not steal and kill you, if you don't steal and kill me."

I support women's rights. I think there are problems that need to be fixed. However, I also feel that with men's rights. There are plenty of problems that men have as well, that just aren't as social known or accepted. While I can't speak for the entire MRM, I like to think that solving women's rights and men's rights is part of the MRM. Now, I may be biased due to what I've seen, and being a male, but it seems to me that Feminism has grown into something it probably shouldn't have been. Twisting facts (rape statistics from what I've seen), getting angry at things that men can't help but do (manspreading, we have testicles that are sensitive), and generally stamping down on men it feels to me that it has grown a metaphorical cancerous cyst that needs to be lopped off. Personally, I just want everyone to get along. I just want people to be nice to each other. And the MRM seems to want that more than the Feminists. So I'm more with them.

Nobody has ever managed to come up with an example of a right women lack, so it's a non-issue.

Should Feminism still exist for this?

That's like asking if we need the KKK because of White rights.

lol you actually asked feminists about men? Just watch yourself get shut down or banned :P it isn't difficult to get banned when feminists are in charge of a place.

I don't mind in the slightest but as others say, if women want equal rights then they have to take reponsibility for themselves like men have to every day. If something goes slightly wrong in your life and you decide to complain to the government about it then you don't care about your rights at all, you're just a feminist.

I think the general concensus is if you can find a right that women don't have, but men have, this should be rectified, and vice versa. No one should be discriminated against due to gender, or anything really.

However, we're not really trying to solve women's issues, because feminism, which manifests itself through a myriad of governmental departments, charities and oragnisations, has got that handled, and has all the funding it needs to get shit done.

when it comes to men's rights, almost nothing is being done. there still aren't many male shelters for domestic violence, and survivors UK still has no government funding. conscription is still a thing, circumcision is still a thing (but men get arrested for manspreading) and a myriad of problems still exist with no attention given to them. We kind of have our hands full, and feminists, who are fighting for women's rights, constantly try to belittle and slander our cause, so no, i think we'll focus on the men for the moment.

we're not against women's rights at all, that's a lie feminists tell. We just don't work towards them because they've already got enough help.

while there are some points to what women want with "equality" are good and they do deserve them. but the main force behind it all the "feminist movement" i would consider to be a terrorist organization

I support women's rights. But i dont support ideas about it that harm other groups though.

Women's Rights is obviously a good thing.

Feminism is diametrically opposed to the equality of the genders, and not even in a way that is beneficial to women. It enforces traditional gender roles by demanding that men stand guard for women- see He for She and the Duluth Model, along with the assertions on alimony and child support. It infantalizes women and deems them incapable of being considered agents by law- see drunken consent.

Feminism supports the rights of women to be treated in the same class as children- coddled, given special care and attention, and given a pass on bad behavior by the virtue that, because patriarchy, women are incapable.

I think it is great that women have the same rights as men in the United States. There is absolutely no reason that they shouldn't. I'm a bit put off, however, by the special rights that are granted to women - both as codified in the law and as enforced by the law - that aren't provided to men.

There was an article that I think was posted here a few weeks ago about the ERA, Equal Rights Act, and how it has never been legislated.

One of the main reasons why was because of a womens' group called STOP (Stop Taking Our Privileges).

I'm 100% in favor of equal rights and accountability, but it seems as though a lot of feminists just want the rights.

I think women lack rights in Eastern countries but have more rights than men in the West. Feminism hasn't been needed for some time now but it continues to exist only to acquire more special treatment for women while obligating responsibility on men.
