Side question:

This article right off the bat mentions the racial pay gap. My question is this...is such a pay gay explainable by the same methods that the gender pay gap is explained? (Ex: hispanic women tend to have larger families than whites and thus will likely have fewer years in the work force; and also work in lower paying jobs, etc...)

It's as if he's channeling a 70s feminist man, Rob Reiner's character on All In the Family say. Because I'm pretty sure the last time men actually expected women to cook and clean was the 70s. He'd probably wants pats on the back for 'allowing' his wife to work outside the home.
