Do you ever feel as though the phrase is misused or misinterpreted by people who either used the phrase or against it. I recall the phrase as being used to excuse mild misbehavior of young men. Such as school fights, accidentally breaking things, eating a cooling pie from the window,etc. Not to excuse horrid crimes such as rape and murder. But, that's what many people seem the phrase is used for.

Do you think the phrase is actually doing any harm to young men as well?
