So I know online dating is like playing a slot machine with a low chance of winning but I met a guy who I previously deemed "out of my league" and not went for. In the process of vetting him but I'm trying to be somewhat open and vulnerable so we can actually get to know each other. Good job, healthy lifestyle, confident, attractive, 6'5. My narc ex was 5'4 and I totally get why height is a thing now.

For ladies who exclusively dated the ultra LVM, applied FDS, and decided to level up in your choice of guys, what were you feeling and how did you work through it?

For me..

  • Trying not to put them on a pedestal just because they are decent
  • Feeling insecure about them having "options" and getting in my head on why I am probably not the best one (will take that to therapy)
  • Feeling like something is off because they are lacking that familiar toxic essence
  • So nervous about coming across as a pickme that I end awkwardly say pickme things that make me cringe immediately
