Standard male shaming. So this CBC report is barely a paragraph long? Guess we are suppose to go read Sharlet's article but why didn't they just put up his article instead of this? Alright here we go.

Actually, anybody who knows the CBC could only be surprised that this type of reporting on the MRM doesn't take place about 3 times weekly. It's like a publicly funded SJW echo-chamber.

Sharlet oozed contempt for everyone there. He also, tellingly, admits that he was working with the same prejudiced, bigoted journalists to craft the same sick narrative. Fascinating how Senator Cools, who speaks with compassion, logic, and fact, is given short shrift here, although if you listen to she's dynamite.

Pretty sure early feminists were not just asking nicely for what they wanted.

Of course their "synopsis" brings up Elliot Rodger, who apparently subscribed to manosphere philosophies by...posting in a forum called PUAHate. So he subscribed to the philosophies of hating the philosophies of some other part of the manosphere...

Wow, BTFO after by Senator Anne Cools. What a bigoted interviewer. Then they cut her off and played music rather than let her get her last point in. This should be noted and spread around

From /r/kotakuinaction 's experience, we should realize that if we want anything to happen based on this, we need to complain to the CRTC on the basis of factual inaccuracy, and that there is a time limit for doing this.

The report is so awful, so bigoted and so contrived as a smear against the MRM that complaints should be lodged with the CBC. The CBC is Canada's National Broadcaster and has a Government Mandate, smearing political groups not to your liking is not one of them.

Well why not describe this a little more, give some instances of this rage you speak of that we must be "warned" about. The article admits there are real problems being addressed but then warns us that some of the people are really upset over these problems basically to the point of rage. Then links to an article someone else wrote that is blatantly biased. Here's an idea, if your going to write an article where you feel it's necessary to warn people about something take the time to actually write something.

The first part may be described as a hit piece. The second part (17 min) highlights a great obstacle of the MRM. Information from an expert who has studied the topic and knew the specifics and could back up their words was so unbelievable that the interviewer had to stop the conversation. Correcting decades of misinformation is not easy.

Paraphrase senator Anne Cools: "We have made a lot of assumptions about women that are being corrected. .... For hundreds of years the law protected women." Paraphrase Host: "I'm going to have to stop you there because I don't believe women have been protected by laws for hundreds of years."

Write to the crtc and have them look into this. If it aired less than a month ago tell them what time it was on so they can request the tape. See Lunar Archivist's posts on KiA for detailed info on dealing with cbc and crtc.
