On this valentines day, I was thinking about past struggles for justice and equality. In South Africa, they honor Nelson Mandela and his fight against apartheid. In America, we remember the patriots during the revolution or the fighters of old dixie during the war of northern aggression. Now we move toward gay rights and the heroes are yet to be seen.

In decades, when men have rights, will we be the ones in the history books? Will young boys, finally treated with the respect and reverence they've been denied, read about us in their history class, consulting screenshots of our posts? Or will it be the more visible figures in our movement? The forneys or milo yianopouluses? What do you think??

To nicemod: I only recently got into Mens rights, from gamer gate. I just learned about return of kings (thanks!) but have been following a lot of ferny via twitter and his personal site. I just wanted to emphasize with my name that i don't hate women. I'm also a proud southerner so that's why i consider them the true heroes. didn't mean to troll but i'm still learning the ropes round these parts. thanks
