The feminist movement didn't come out of thin air, it first came from men, regardless of the reasons. The fact that a men's movement didn't move first and that women had so many issues to the point they'd physical act on it when men didn't, says a lot. it's a movement because hundreds of thousands are standing up for what they think is right, whether it is or not. clearly, all the men didn't do the same on their side. while it may not have seemed like a great example, I did point out the boy who was raped, and it were feminits who stood up and defended him, rather than men themselves. and i used myself as an example of a "feminist who gives a fuck about men". I may not seem to act out for human rights, but I have treated feminisim the same way. Me "acting out" is voicing my opinion, and I have done so many times, not only for the benefit of women, but many more times for lgbt and wrongly accused people.

There are hundreds of reasons why the feminist movement supposedly hasn't done any real helpful shit, particularily in other countries where feminism is sorely needed, is because of regulations, traditions, and laws. You cannot simply walk into India screaming your opinions about their so called "traditions", for example, the common practice of an arranged marriage to a young daughter.

You will be arrested. No one will listen, nor will they care. Tradition and culture is one of the hardest things to break, and trying to convince men of such cultures that their ways and believe are completely wrong is a suicide move. On the other hand, I haven't seen men actively doing anything against those that have been mistreated as well. Yes, you can name a few incidents. But you can name hundreds of more cases on the side of women, regardless of right or wrong. Thus, you cannot simply argue against the activity of both men and women in this regard. not everyone is perfect, and views are always flawed. maybe those large feminist organizations arent making a difference, and shout out to the wrong thing. But things are different as a women. The majority of men cannot understand the embarrassment and wariness a women feels when a random man calls out to her on the streets. you don't understand the feeling of being naked in front of a man's eyes, with them trying to look down their shirts or skirts.

No, not all men are like this, and yes, there are plently of decent men. But not enough. Women are naturally weaker than men physically, and in many cases, this difference in strength can make a huge difference. Like a man grabbing a women's arm to force them to stay, and physcially not being able to escape. A man who pushes you down with his weight, and not being able to move. The possibilities of what a man can do with his strength is fearful. Feminism, believe it or not, helps this. More people are standing up for what they believe in, again, regardless of right or wrong. More people, and men, are now aware of women's stand on things now, and how we feel about the things they do to us. That catcalling to them is a compliment to us, but us not feeling the same. Many people's thoughts and thinking have been affected by feminism, and as a women, as a women who has been there, and know what its like, I can't be more grateful to feminism. Besides, this movement is still fairly new. It's only existed for a few years, and with more time, maybe it'll have the chance to make a physical difference to those who need it.

And seriously, I get you're just complaining about feminism and stuff, but not once have I heard how men are helping themselves. Yes, they complain about women. But have a heard about an organization or group of men or on men's right actually doing something, about the slavery or anything? We feminists may not have had the time to do anything yet, but believe me, it's been tried, and it's been brewing around a lot. If feminisim has brought negatives things with it, I'm sorry. But why not try to deal with it? Why not people stand up to feminists, without resorting to elementary name-calling and online arguements such as this one? Why not people do things right, to show feminists how it should be done? If we're doing wrong, then show us, physically, actively, what we're doing wrong, and how to fix it. Feminisim started off with the basic concept of helping people. Show us how to properly help people instead of acting in an immature way how you feel about it. At least we're trying, even if you don't think we are.
