Little bit of a rant I apologize in advance.

So I'm sitting in English Class today and someone across the room is talking about a recent news article that was clearly sexist towards men. I forget the actual article name but it was stating that men are the problem in majority of domestic violence cases and that we need to teach young boys how to treat women so they don't beat there girlfriends/wives blah blah blah. After my friend stated that it was sexist towards men (She's a girl) my Teacher freaks out and says "How can people call that being sexist when men account for 95% of domestic violence" and going on and on about how women are the victim and men are the "bad guys".

After she said this my jaw dropped and I was a little pissed. It really upset me because she's a teacher and she's telling the students false facts and bullshit propaganda that there going to believe just because she's in a authoritative position. I immediately raised my hand and informed her that that's false information and that more then 40% of domestic violence victims are male. She responded with a very angry "Thats not true, you're just talking, next class Im going to bring in FACTS and studies that prove it" I Responded with "Fair enough, me to"

That leaves me here. I plan on dedicating my weekend on creating a binder full of laminated and high lighted information that will show the class and her that her accusations are false and inform them on the truth about domestic violence. To be honest I'm quite excited for Monday as I really don't like this teacher.

Please If you have any articles/studies/facts on men and domestic violence leave them in the comments bellow. It will make my search much easier.

Thanks!
