First of all, a movie is a terrible date idea because you're sitting awkwardly in the dark not talking.

A better idea is to meet up for drinks somewhere and then take it from there.

"hey smiley girl, let's meet up for drinks"

If she passes, leave it. It means you haven't established enough attraction.

I find sometimes that girls will either give me their number or i'll take it after gaming them.

If they don't want to meet up after it means I didn't establish enough attraction. Time to move on.

Don't go straight for the movies. Invite her for ice cream / coffee etc. It only takes 15 mins then during that you can say "hey let's go see a movie"

movies aren't a great idea. can't listen to her yap on about her instagram for an hour. wait, maybe it's not so bad

it's better to have a cool thing that you're going to by yourself (i like art show openings cuz i'm classy as fuck) or with a group. then invite her to tag along.
