I live in Massachusetts. There have been several occasions where the courts have ordered a man to CONTINUE paying child support even when they possess documentation proving they are not the child's biological father. It's nuts.

They accepted her word with no proof at all.

This is so wrong. And the fact alleged fathers have to pay for their own tests to prove they are not the father is even more so.

none of the amounts and dates in that story match.

First its £30k over 22 years, then its £30k between 2007 and 2014, then its £50k, then its £70pw since 1995 (which is around £70k).

Daily Mail at it's finest it seems.

I agree on the technicality here. It's unfair to expect someone to be able to immediately refund payments volunteered throughout the childhood.

He should be able to sue her though. I know in practice it's effectively the same thing, but it seems more reasonable to me from a legal standpoint.
