I was married to her for 6 years, when I met her she already had a 4 year old boy. We soon had two of our own children. I was in computer repair at the time. Jobs started dwindling away and I soon found myself in a major bind financially. To save you some details, I found a job out of state near my parents house, so we decided to make the move. Her parents did not want us to move, but didn't talk to us about it either. Instead they concocted an elaborate scheme to talk the ex wife into allowing her son to stay there for the summer. She didn't see any problems with it, but while we were gone, the contacted the father and paid for his lawyer to stop her from moving her son out of state. In the same time, that boy was caught molesting his cousins, and his step brother and sister. During questioning the coxed him into saying I molested him. I was working one morning when I got a call from my mother saying that CPS wanted to talk to me, and needed to call them. I found out that I was being accused of molesting that child. I didn't. My ex wife stood by my side, I made countless phone calls to the detectives and was fully cooperating until one day, I come home from work and my ex wife, my kids and almost all of my belongings were gone. She had packed up everything and left me... No reason, no explanation, nothing but a note that said "I've left for (state of origin)" I was in shock. I can't describe the feelings that came over me while I waited to hear from her. I even started out after her, and drove about 3 hours before deciding to turn around, I figured, there is no point in trying to get back someone who doesn't love you back. The kids were a different story though... I was angry that she took them and didn't know what I would have done if she tried to keep me from physically taking my kids back to their home! So I figured it best to talk to her and find out what her thinking was. When I did talk to her, i didn't get any kind of reason of why she decided to leave. "I'm just done" is what she kept saying. I filed for divorce and custody the following morning. I know it sounds a bit rash, but I figured she would try to divorce me in the court out of state and I didn't have the resources to fight an out of state battle... Now to back to the molestation charge, before she left me, I had an appointment set up for a police polygraph test. This test was voluntary. There were no official charges at the time. Except the day after my wife received divorce papers is when she went to the police station to make a statement. No one told me that the accusations were turned to charges. She lied to police, her son lied to police, her parents lied to police, I was completely honest with them. Then one day while I was at work, I had to call the police to make a report of theft. I have made these reports hundreds of times before. This one was routine up until I gave him my name. I saw him flinch with his hand, he then turned white and got nervous. That's when things became non routine... He went to his car and came back with a gun drawn, telling me to put my hands on the truck. I was arrested on three counts first degree Criminal sexual conduct... I was in the local jail for five days before the squad car came to get me and haul me 500 miles to my original state jail where I spent 95 days confined and innocent. I know 90 days isn't shit. But it was to me on the charges I was on... During my stay in jail, I had to have my family sell off all of my belongings. I sold everything I had accumulated in my first thirty years of life... We (my family) managed to find a good lawyer and I immediately took two private polygraphs and passed them with flying colors. Right after that, they offered to let me out on tether to my sisters house until I took a police polygraph... I agreed and spent the next month and a half at my sisters on tether. I ended up not having to take the police polygraph. After the detective got the private results, the decided to re question the boy. He fell apart and recanted his statements. I was free to go...

That same night, I got my tether removed, I took my children back home with me. I drove all night, 500 miles straight to the courthouse to get a temporary custody order and parenting plan. I had no problem getting this from the judge. He remembered seeing me when I was arrested on molestation charges and was eager to hear of the outcome. After This, it was pretty simple to get the divorce and custody finalized. She didn't have the resources to fight it out of state and basically folded. I won everything. I am extremely thankful I have my children. I couldn't get my job back, I still owe about 30 grand in lawyer fees, I can't find a descent job. Every time I see a cop, I get nervousness and sick to my stomach. This experience has changed me in many ways. I ended up moving back to that state after my mother had passed and have been here since... My children are much older now (starting high school) but I feel like that bitch has ruined their childhood. It takes everything I have not to go off on here when I see her or when she calls. Hate is a hell of a consumer! It's tough to get passed it but I manage. She owes me like 15 grand in child support and just doesn't care. She has since remarried and has another child. Her oldest son managed to avoid the sex offender list due to his age, even though he molested at least 4 kids... The system sucks...
