I was heading to the gym last night and it was heavy traffic.While i was sitting there were 2 girls basically cramped up right next to me. I heard talking about how stressful she feels about the beggining of first year(here college begins between 1st and 6th of october depending on which one it is) while the other was reassuring her.The stressed girl caught my eye cause she was on the conventionally unnattractive side and had Mass Effect(my favorite game) on her lock in screen. In the past i would approach a woman like that without hesitation but i chose to just sit still.

She then fell on my lap because some random guy pushed her a bit with his back and she apologized. I then made a joke about how bold she is and both her and her friend chuckle a bit. However intrestingly her friend starts the conversation with me,asks where im headed to etc.This honestly shocked me that a stranger besides men or older women puts effort in conversations. I then begin reassuring the ME girl that i know how it is and that college is no different than elementary, middle or high school. You were worried about all 3 when you first started going and here you are perfectly fine.

She thanked me and we began just talking about random stuff and then i was asked if i play video games. I then mentioned how im a huge fan of mass effect and then she just had the biggest glimmer in her eyes and couldnt shut up about it for the next 20 minutes(which i was so happy to witness). Her friend took a backseat and was sort of trying to let the two of us bond.

As the traffic was getting better and her station was close i asked her for her Ig(more common amongst genz in my country than phone number before any bluepillers jump on my throat). She then replied you are really sweet and funny but just not my type sorry. She then left on the next station and her friend apologized and said that she tried to sort of be a wingman. I told her there is nothing to apologize for and that she tried her best.

Most important part of all:She then said she did that because her friend has only had 1 boyfriend and that she never gets any male attention and thus when she saw how great our chemistry was she tried to hook us up. I then waved her goodbye and thanked her for the efforts

Time to drink myself to death this weekend boys!
