I was once in marriage counseling and the therapist corrected me about saying sex is a need because I don’t need it to survive like food or water. Yeah, no shit, but that’s not what it means in context. Sex is a “need” in that I need it in order to maintain a satisfying relationship with my partner. My wife doesn’t need to be hugged and cuddled to survive either, but she sure as shit needs it for the relationship to survive. Feminists are either deliberately obfuscating this perspective, or they are monumentally stupid. I can’t decide which.

In my experience, I can be told no and stop. The girls I've been with on the other hand.... Sex is a need for both men and women, but only one of those genders get to dictate when sex occurs.

What gets to me is they think their manipulation of society translates to them changing reality itself. You can force people to call it a want, or whatever you want them to call it in public due to shaming, etc. This is all just arguing the semantics of what constitutes a need.

No amount of talking changes the reality that sex is a biological imperative for men. You can't have a sexual relationship without sex and sexuality. The males of species will forgo "needs" like food and often times their own lives just for the chance to have sex. If this doesn't constitute a need in your mind, can you at least be a little intellectually honest (and "empathetic") to see how important it is for the other person?

Any woman that is actually qualified to be in a sexual relationship with a man understands this. An adult woman doesn't think she can force whatever self-serving way she wishes reality to be just by manipulating peoples' public speech through shaming tactics.

The reality is a lot of women aren't worthy to be in relationships and need to do a lot of growing up and self-reflection before being ready for one. The fact that we have to waste time talking about obvious things like this shows how coddled some of these women have become.
