Golding was a foolish man for saying this. When you say “a woman” it gives the impression that all women are the same. Same thing if you were to say “a man.” If you give most women in this day and age a house, she’ll turn it into a living hell or she will take advantage of you. Rather, he should’ve said if you give a “good” woman a house she will turn it into a home. I do agree with that.
