Married/divorced in one year

I was married for just 10 months and I’m currently separated from my soon to be ex-wife. She has filled papers and I was served 2 days ago. I ignored every red flag with this woman but I wanted to settle down and thought she was the one. Prior to us meeting she suffered a miscarriage from a previous relationship and 7 months into our marriage it happened again. We lost our baby at 12 weeks and I felt my marriage die too in that hospital. That very day she took to the bottle and never looked back. The once beautiful and vibrant woman I married, was no longer there. I kept my emotions bottled up because I didn’t want her to feel responsible. I pleaded for counseling to cope with the grief but it was shot down. As I told her I married you, for you and for us. Looking back at how rushed our wedding process was I believe she wanted to be a mother more than a wife. She never truly recovered from the first loss before she jumped into my life. With no baby on the way she decided she didn’t want to be a wife anymore. Claims in the papers that we have difference in personality and that’s the reason for divorce. I admit I wasn’t supporting her emotions in the weeks that followed but as her parents told me, I was a great husband. She began to hide the drinking from me and went from wine to whiskey and then to weed. All in all I am beating myself up for the things I could’ve done differently but I’m being told there’s nothing I could do. She didn’t want to save our marriage so now I must try and grow stronger everyday. I need to move on with my life but I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with the woman.
