Take that income and throw it at a lawyer. And read the law - you should be able to discern all of that from the statutes. Then go see a lawyer or three.

In Florida that’s a short term marriage max would be 50% of difference for up to 10 years. Most of the time by me it’s half the length (5 years) for about 30%. But YMMV

Get a lawyer to answer you with specifics for your case. The judges in family law have immense discretion in how they decide your case, and "best interest of the children" will most likely translate to what is best for their mother. You will be expected to make due.

I just got divorced last fall in NJ after an almost 15 year marriage with two kids with similar income levels and discrepancies in income. Our judge told us there is no exact guidline, but in general it is 22% to 25% of the difference in income, for 10-12 years for us. Our settlement was closer to 28% for 8 years, which also coincides with our youngest graduating from High School (showing that specific circumstances cans and do matter).

If your combined income in NJ is over ~$185k per year, the judge can ignore the child support guidelines. Our combined income was over that, so I agreed to a higher percentage of alimony to ensure the judge used the guidelines by the book.

You will not know what you will end up with until the divorce papers are signed. The longer you wait to file, the more she will get to take from you.
