She spent $500 dollars on EMF protection (from the wifi) because of an infomercial she saw on TBN. After I called her out on it, she had me watch the informercial, thinking it would convince me. Wrong! It was nothing but pseudo-science and quackery with no scientific merit in the least.

After a 'free' info session on real estate investment she spent another 2k for rest of weekend.. the. Tried to convince me to let her spend another 40k for mentoring, a trip to Vegas and some other supposed perks.. when I refused she said was using the equity in rental because it was money her and her mom put down. Ended up being a scam essentially..which is no surprise.

The other was she saw online some people painted their hardwood floor all white. Or course I said it was a bad idea but she has contractors come give a quote anyways and of course it turned out badly.. to make matters worse the contractor was some Kijiji guy who cut corners and didn't sand properly in some places.. took him to small claims court but or course we had to get in line and never got any money depsite the award. I learned to basically say hell no the moment any of those crazy thoughts came into her head.. then if course I was the dream killer and the negative Nancy. I had to talk her out of a timeshare another time and was like nope we are going.. remember the other times?

Always thinking of the next project for the house…. Major projects. We wouldn’t be finished with a project and she has thinking about the third project. We had… rather I had….. a really nice home and at our age major projects for an already beautiful home seemed like a waste since we planned on moving once retirement. Lolol it just hit me that she knew all along the final outcome. I got played lol
