Not sure if it should to be a rant flair or dating after divorce flair. Eh well, here it goes:
The male loneliness is as cold, as quiet and as peaceful as a grave. Noone bothers you and noone knows/cares you exist.
For the last 2.5 years after divorce, I was happy in that death hole. I learned it the hard way that peace is obligatory for men to function; hence, trumps all else. So I built my own bubble and have been living in it peacefully. To be frank, there was a couple of attempts and hook ups throughout the way but all of them failed hillariously.
Then, she appeared.
She and I are more compatible than any women who crossed paths with me, including the person I divorced. On multiple occasions, I wished it was her that I married instead of my ex. For the first time ever, I felt safe.
Today, I disgusted her with an action of mine in my past. To be honest, I am disgusted by that person as well. There, however, is nothing I can do but regret the past me. So out of all other damn days, the day she agreed to be my missus, I made her reluctant of the decision she made.
Now, I am back to my grave. My peaceful yet cold grave. Only this time, it was not my choice.
That might be the kick in the nuts for me, fellas. I'll probably seal the dating ledger for good.
At least the death hole, regardless of the sheer cold, is peaceful and silent.
I like cold, anyways.
