My wife wants to divorce me and has been making my life a living hell. I’ve had enough of the abuse from her. Unfortunately my wife kept the marriage certificate and said she was going to mail it in. She never did after the 60 days was up told me she burned it and all this stuff. She even bought a home and claims she put it in someone else’s name.

I’ve lost multiple jobs because of her controlling and manipulative behaviours. She was the cause of 2 jobs I lost, and was partly to blame for another. Now that I’ve been working steadily and have 2 full time remote jobs she’s threatening to kick me out saying she’s afraid for her safety, and had a locksmith over today to change locks. She’s threatening me that she is going to lock my out and throw all my stuff out the next time I have to go into the office for work.

If I “divorce” her do I still get a portion of the house even if she intentionally put it in someone else’s name to avoid me getting my share of it?
