I live in the Greater Houston area and have been contemplating doing that initial consultation with a firm "just in case" as close friends to me here have suggested I do, as well as feedback I have been reading here in this group. But, I don't know any and it seems it is just a dart throw in the dark or at balloons at a fair. I obviously have seen there are firms and/or lawyers that specialize in husbands and military (I am retired Air Force, although I was not married during my complete career. I have heard that doesn't matter in Texas, if you have been married 10 years it is by default 50/50).
