We are doing the divorce ourselves. I have consulted a lawyer and layed out what we came to on our agreement. He said if we agreed it all looked good and I really didn’t need him (I’m very organized and prepared), but I’m curious about this first hearing and what it entails. We have no provisional matters set in our paperwork and I believe it’s a “provisional” hearing. I’m wondering if it’s just a confirmation that this is the agreement we have come too and that both parties are on the same page?

Any info anyone has I would appreciate it. I’m in Indiana.
