Just wanted to say Happy Father’s Day to all the dads going through a divorce. It’s especially hard when you have a vindictive STBX. I’m sure today is pretty hard for those who may not have the custody agreement they want, and can’t see their kids today.

For me, I’m doing an in house separation with my wife and it’s hell. She still tried to keep my kid from me today, and made Father’s Day a pain in the ass for me. She pumped up the drama today. I know everyone in here says to try and stay in the house during separation and I’ve tried, but it’s been a nightmare. The only reason I stay in the house is because of my kid first, and second because I can’t afford two properties. I don’t see how I could afford an apartment and the mortgage for the house. Wife won’t leave and she barely can hold a job, and doesn’t make enough for the mortgage. With a high conflict/abusive spouse I’m about ready to go to war and file a PO to get her ass out of the house.
