So my STBXW currently have a Holiday schedule that has not been signed off by the courts. The Christmas my family is going to Europe and my mom invited me and the kids (airfare and lodging). My STBXW unfortunately did not consent to me taking the kids to Europe. I have now made the decision to make the family trip without the kids since I’ve never been and the offer to go for free was on the table. When I advised my STBXW about my plans, she immediately said for me to make sure I find child care arrangements for “my days” since she has to work (she works from home).

Anyone go through this and what’s my best plan of action? I feel like this will be used against me. I also feel like she is trying to still control my life even though we are no longer together…
