So I'm admittedly oblivious to how this all works. Am somewhat confident I would be able to land a promotion that might be a salary increase in the range of $20-40k more a year.

Seems obvious I would want to wait until after a divorce was finalized to do so for child support reasons. Or is there some sort of post review that occurs on an ongoing basis.

I could definitely keep my mouth shut about this and I work remotely so any interested parties would not need to find out about a job change.
