Funny how a STBXW who had multiple affairs during our 10+ year marriage thinks she's the victim in this divorce. We did our 1st (and maybe only) mediation yesterday and all my side wanted was 50/50 kids timeshare, sell the home, and split the assets 50/50. Her side- not so much. Keep the home, lowball 1-time only money offer to buy me out of the home, accusing joint credit card debt she charged as my debt, etc. I hadn't seen my STBXW in her full-on liar personality before, but it was on full display in all its glory here. 3 hours of my life ended in an impasse and my side filed to have a court date set for later this year. Sad thing is the mediator said flat out that a judge will make us sell the home and since neither side can afford to go to court it becomes a game of chicken to see who blinks first. I guess this is common- once past mediation if it continues 1 side goes broke, that attorney withdraws, and that person is screwed. Hang in there men in similar situations- it has to get better.

Also, the guy who she ended the marriage over because he was her "soulmate" dumped her a week after I filed for divorce. Now she is slumming around w/ 1 of her other former affair partners. Guys who are reading this and aren't married and think this can't happen to them- I was that naïve soul and it can happen to you. Best of luck to all.
