Congrats! Not sure about your situation. My STBXW made it easy for me to move on. I don't play around with cheaters and adding in my realization that she is a narcissist who has mentally and emotionally abused me for years is enough to know I'll be better off. At that point a switch flipped and she means nothing. She is just an obstacle blocking my happier future and internal peace.

I understand, I'm 39m the one who's filing on her 41f but it still hurts like hell some days. The woman she became, what we threw away, the kids witnessing everything, money down the drain, being betrayed.

I'm finally seeing another woman, and taking it very slow, but it's the breath of fresh air I needed, even if it's not going anywhere. She's good company. Texting a few other women who are options for later maybe.

I'm not recommending that your outlet is women, but the satisfaction I get from having 'no strings attached' friendships with the most beautiful gender really gives me the strength to go on and not give a fuck about my stbxw any longer.
