Shocked to find myself here but I’m sure that’s normal. Wife told me after about a year of counseling that she doesn’t have anything left to give or try, time for a divorce. It is going ok so far, mostly a civil agreement to avoid alimony and such. My own calculations aside she could end up owing less than $100/month in child support. Not worth losing sleep over.

Have two young kids 5&3 yr old boys. 50/50 joint decision making or custody arrangement.

What are some things I need to know for our parenting plan going forward? I haven’t found many fair arrangements online as most indicated men lose time. I’m happily not in that boat. I don’t want to miss little things now as she continues to rush through the process of splitting everything for a separation and divorce towards the end of the year. What are the small things that you missed or are glad you didn’t miss I should be aware of? Appreciate the help here guys, sucks to be in the situation though I know it could be much worse. I’m looking to protect my kids and my time with them.
