My STBX and I rent. 3 kids only one is under 21 (16yrs). I know she cannot afford to keep the apt. Lease also in my name. I know out of spite etc she will not agree to move. I've learnt from this sub, I don't have to move out and I don't intend too.

I'm good friends with the Landlord and thinking of telling him to evict us, then I can come back and rent it from him.

Doing it mainly because I want to keep the kids (even though others are older in college 22 & 25) as stable as possible. Finding a new place to rent will be too expensive.

Any advice appreciated
