I know a guy getting divorced in Iowa. Not well off. Ex took his 401K cashed it out over a year, absconded with the kid to her mother's house. Her mother works for DCFS in Iowa. His STBXW is filing for divorce against him.

They went to mediation she with her mother and attorney he was pro se. He asked for the financials she wouldn't provide them they came to an agreement on nothing.

he has no money for an attorney. Literally, doesn't have enough credit to pay that way....literally has no money for an attorney.
