It's amazing how fast and violently they can turn on you. No matter how good of a husband/boyfriend you may have been up until that point. It really makes you look at them on a new light.

Sorry you had to go through the drama brother. Yours is not an uncommon story. Many women love conditionally and see us as utilities. They do love you, the same way you love your car. You take care of it, have happy memories together, and want to keep it for life. But when the engine blows, well it becomes time to replace it. And like any utility or tool, once broken and useless, you throw it away.

Not all women are like this. But more than enough to make your story not uncommon. Good luck with the continued healing 💪

Ah, the memories. For me it was a 1990 Toyota single cab 4x4. Drove it 1500 miles to live with my parents.

So your son hates you too? I dont get it.. why? Wife turned him against you? If that is the case.. you have to repair that later on.. when he's a bit older and can understand how shit his mother was. But I have read/found that most kids dont get past that for years or longer.. me personally.. love my kids.. but I can't do that shit no more. I can't let that sort of anger around lies fester and ruin my life. You'd be best to try every now and again perhaps, but assume you can fix it once he's a bit older.

Some women hang in there and care for an injured husband. Some do not. In my observation. This is also true for men with disabled wives. It is a shame on your wife that she won't let you back into a family life and support a good relationship with your son.

I have great respect for you doing the work to come back from your stroke. Don't let your wife's dishonorable behavior diswad you from continuing your success. Your son needs to know his dad is a man who doesn't let the unpredicatable make him a victim but a hero. There's no need to denigrate his mom as she's done that already.
